Each slate is a piece of New Orleans history - salvaged locally from rooftops that stood for over a century. When we began this journey over 40 years ago, slates were easy to come by as old homes were remodeled and restored. Today, they’re much harder to find - each one feels like a treasure unearthed. Every slate we reclaim is a prized possession, and we’re proud to give it new life through art. Be part of the magic, and take home a piece of the city’s soul.
